Wisconsin Blue Lotus is a meditation group open to anyone interested in practicing mindfulness and loving kindness. In addition to posting weekly meeting times, we want to share other opportunities for practice and retreat in this area. We'll also post joint projects with Peace Tree Yoga (teacher Donna Mosca, Burlington, WI), including workshop and retreat details. We are interested people of learning Buddhism and practice Buddhist meditation. I am, Bhante Sila, a Sri Lankan Buddist monk in practice over 35 years now and accommodating meditation classes and Buddhism study programs to the people interested in through Skype and in person. The Milwaukee Women’s Sacred Singing Circle meets to sing as a circle of women every other Tuesday (once every two weeks) for 75-90 minutes. Women may attend regularly or just occasionally. It is not necessary to have prior experience nor to be a “great” singer. We ask that participants simply come with the intent to sing for healing and celebration of life—for oneself, others near and far, and for the world. This group is designed to introduce on going weekly classes of Jin Gui Golden Shield Qi Gong in Milwaukee. Golden Shield is a potent internal energy system that fully integrates the body, mind and energy through the careful application of physical practice, meditation and herbs. By building and cleansing all of the systems of the body we rapidly develop beyond normal human limits and in doing so rediscover our natural ability to maintain incredibly high levels of physical and mental health.
